Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Empower middle school learners in a fulfilling full-time role supporting 7th grade students in a resource classroom setting. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification required Experience working with middle school students, especially at the 7th grade level, preferred Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, support staff, and parents Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Patience, adaptability, and dedication to supporting unique student needs

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized instruction and support for 7th grade students in a resource classroom environment Develop and deliver differentiated lesson plans tailored to individual learning needs and IEP goals Collaborate with classroom teachers, counselors, and other professionals to create inclusive learning experiences Monitor student progress, gather data, and adjust instructional approaches as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation related to student performance, attendance, and IEP compliance Participate in IEP meetings and communicate regularly with families about student growth and needs
