A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

A contract opportunity awaits Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) near Danielson, CT, where your expertise will help inspire growth and foster success in children and adolescents.

Qualifications:

Valid licensure as an SLP or SLPA, or eligibility in Connecticut Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families Knowledge of current therapy techniques and individualized education plan (IEP) processes Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders

Responsibilities:
