What Were Looking For:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification Experience or coursework in Autism Spectrum Disorder education and intervention Passion for teaching students in grades 6, 7, and 8 Skills in managing a self-contained classroom environment Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to create a positive, structured, and engaging classroom culture

Your Primary Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver effective lessons tailored to the strengths and needs of middle school students with autism Employ evidence-based instructional strategies and behavior supports Monitor and document student progress, and adjust plans as needed Foster a safe, inclusive space where every student feels understood and supported Collaborate regularly with other educators, school staff, and families to support holistic student development Assist with IEP development and participate in meetings as required Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and regulatory guidelines Enjoy a rewarding experience that offers both professional and personal growth.
