Your responsibilities will include:

Providing individualized and group instruction to support progress toward IEP goals Collaborating with general education teachers to assist students in their areas of struggle Writing and updating IEPs, ensuring compliance and effective student support Tracking student progress and modifying instruction as needed Conducting assessments and participating actively in student goal tracking Attending and presenting at IEP meetings, communicating effectively with families and staff

Qualifications:

Valid Connecticut Special Education Endorsement; candidates with a Durational Shortage Area Permit (DSAP) will also be considered At least two years of recent experience in teaching Special Education Demonstrated proficiency in writing and implementing IEPs Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset In addition to a dynamic and supportive environment, this contract brings valuable perks.
