Qualifications:

Valid certification as a Special Education Teacher Prior experience working with elementary-aged students Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation Strong collaboration and communication abilities Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment

Responsibilities:

Provide targeted instruction and support for students in an elementary resource room setting Serve as an advocate and guide for students in two primary grades, adapting strategies to their unique needs Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to develop and implement individualized educational plans Maintain accurate records and track student progress towards goals Ensure a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for diverse learners This position offers the stability of a full-time schedule within school-day hours, allowing you to have evenings and weekends free for personal pursuits.
