Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Special Education (SPED) teaching license required
• Experience working with students with moderate special education needs preferred
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Ability to support students across K-12 grade levels
• Strong classroom management, communication, and collaboration skills
• Compassionate, adaptable, and student-focused approach
• Ability to work effectively with general education and special education staff

Schedule:

• Full-time position
• 37.5 hours per week
• School-based position for the academic year

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized instruction and support to approximately 15 students on the caseload
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with student needs and educational requirements
• Support students across K-12 grade levels
• Work within four classroom settings: K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12
• Provide instruction and support in small-group classroom environments
• Support classrooms that may include a combination of general education and special education students
• Address the academic, behavioral, social, and developmental needs of students with moderate support needs
• Collaborate with teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate student records and documentation
