Duties Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans tailored to meet individual student needs, ensuring alignment with educational standards and IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements Deliver instruction across core subjects such as literacy, math, science, social studies, and specialized areas like speech therapy, music therapy, or recreational therapy as applicable Adapt teaching strategies and instructional modifications for students with disabilities or special needs to promote engagement and understanding Utilize educational technology tools and learning software to enhance classroom activities and support differentiated learning approaches Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques for students with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges Maintain detailed records of student progress, conduct assessments, and prepare reports for parent-teacher conferences and compliance purposes Collaborate regularly with colleagues on curriculum development, instructional design, and best practices in special education and early childhood education Experience Proven experience working with children in an educational setting, including preschool or early intervention programs Demonstrated expertise in special education law, IEP development, instructional modifications, and educational compliance standards Strong background in working with students with autism, developmental disabilities, visually impaired education, or other disabilities Familiarity with behavioral therapy techniques such as applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health strategies Proficiency in integrating educational technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction Experience conducting assessments for standardized testing and providing tutoring or academic advising when needed Excellent communication skills for parent engagement, team collaboration, and interdisciplinary coordination Join us to empower young learners through innovative teaching methods that celebrate diversity and foster lifelong curiosity.
