Manage classroom behavior through positive behavior management techniques to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Conduct regular assessments of child progress using standardized testing methods and document developmental observations accurately. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns through scheduled meetings and written updates. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws related to child welfare and safety protocols such as first aid and CPR certifications. Collaborate with colleagues to develop lesson plans that incorporate physical education, fine motor skills, and social interaction opportunities. Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that encourages exploration while adhering to health and safety standards for daycare and preschool settings. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, including preschool or daycare environments. Strong background in curriculum development, classroom management, and child development instruction tailored for toddlers. Knowledge of special education needs, early intervention techniques, and behavior management strategies specific to two-year-olds. Excellent communication skills to foster positive relationships with children, parents, staff, and community partners. Valid certifications in first aid and CPR; familiarity with mandated reporting laws is essential. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
