Responsibilities Develop and deliver comprehensive science curricula aligned with educational standards, incorporating topics such as biology, chemistry, physics, and earth sciences. Conduct laboratory experiments, including dissections and microbiology activities, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing and project-based assessments. Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment conducive to exploration and inquiry. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing IT-integrated lessons to foster interdisciplinary learning. Provide academic advising and mentorship to support students' personal growth, especially those from diverse cultural backgrounds or with special education needs. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field; Master's degree preferred. Proven experience teaching middle school students in a classroom setting with strong classroom management skills. Extensive knowledge of scientific disciplines including biology (cell biology, genetics, microbiology), chemistry (organic chemistry), physics (geometry, trigonometry, calculus), and mathematics (algebra, differential equations). Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that aligns with educational standards and incorporates learning technology effectively. Experience with laboratory activities such as dissection and research laboratory work; familiarity with safety procedures is essential. Strong communication skills for engaging students, collaborating with colleagues, and communicating with parents or guardians. Ability to adapt lessons for different learning styles and work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of educational compliance regulations and experience working within private or Montessori school environments is advantageous.
