A Special Education Teacher teaches students who have disabilities, and adapts teaching methods to meet the needs of students. Assesses students and helps to develop individualized education plans that specify the services and accommodations needed for each student. Works in a classroom that includes only students with IEPs, or works with students and teachers in regular classes. For students with severe disabilities, may focus on developing skills for independent living. Works as part of a team that includes therapists, school counselors or social workers.

With over 3 million hours of tutoring delivered, our personalized, data-driven instruction supports measurable student growth. Position Overview We are seeking Certified Teachers to deliver targeted, one-on-one and small group instruction . Tutors will use evidence-based strategies and culturally responsive teaching to help students build confidence and achieve their academic goals. Requirements Valid Florida teaching and ESE certification ( Required ). Bachelor's degree or higher. Proficiency in tutoring reading and math across grade levels ( K-12 ). Proficiency in tutoring math up to Algebra 2 and Geometry Reliable transportation and valid driver's license. Schedule & Pay Monday- Friday between 8:00am-3:00pm Part time (15-25 hours a week) $30/hour
Note:
This position is set to start August 31st. • Hours and schedule are still being determined; however, this position will take place during the school day on-site between these days and times.
