Manage daily classroom activities with enthusiasm and professionalism, ensuring smooth transitions and engaging learning experiences for toddlers through preschool-aged children. Uphold health and safety protocols within the classroom, including child welfare policies and daycare regulations. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities related to childhood development, classroom management, literacy education, Montessori training, and other relevant areas. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or related field; Montessori certification or equivalent preferred. Proven experience working with children in a classroom or daycare setting; preschool or private school experience highly valued. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and early intervention strategies. Familiarity with curriculum development across multiple domains including literacy, math (including standardized testing), physical education, and social-emotional learning. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, families, colleagues, and community partners. Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics efficiently while fostering a positive learning environment. Experience working with children with special needs or in inclusive classrooms is desirable. Ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate age-appropriate activities such as tutoring sessions or physical education exercises.
