Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead One Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment tailored specifically for one-year-old children. Your leadership will ensure that each child's developmental needs are met through engaging activities, attentive supervision, and effective communication with families. Duties Lead daily classroom activities designed to support the physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development of one-year-old children. Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards and individual child needs. The lesson plans are provided, but additional activities and plans will need to be added to foster growth and development Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being, practicing vigilant child supervision and behavior management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong parent-teacher partnerships. Maintain accurate records of children's developmental progress, attendance, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws. Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create an inclusive classroom environment that supports children with diverse abilities, including those requiring special education services. Must be able to delagate responsibilities and communicate effectively with co-workers to ensure there is clear communication and team work. Ensure the classroom is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies to facilitate a smooth daily routine. Requirements Proven experience working with infants and toddlers in daycare or preschool settings; classroom management skills are essential. Knowledge of childhood development instruction, behavior management strategies, and early childhood education best practices. Valid certification in pediatric first aid and CPR; additional certifications in first aid or specialized training in special education are preferred. If this is not current, we do provide the training at the expense of the preschool. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child abuse and neglect; ability to respond appropriately if concerns arise. Strong communication skills for effective parent interaction and teamwork within a daycare center environment. Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable. Ability to pass background checks required for working with young children; flexibility and a nurturing attitude are essential for success in this role. Pay:

$15.00 - $16.50 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week
