This is an on-site, contract role guiding a classroom of students with diverse learning needs and exceptionalities. Key Qualifications:

Active Florida ESE certification K-6 or PK-3 General Education certification required Prior experience leading a self-contained classroom essential Knowledge of best practices in differentiating instruction and behavior management Strong communication and collaboration abilities with multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging environment for all learners

Position Details & Responsibilities:

35 hours per week (7-hour school days) One school location, primarily serving elementary grades (final location to be confirmed; efforts made to accommodate preferred grade levels) Support students with a range of abilities and exceptionalities in a self-contained classroom setting Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), track student progress, and maintain documentation Collaborate closely with families, support staff, and administration to create effective learning strategies Participate in professional development and district meetings as required Ensure timely completion of background checks and credentialing (including fingerprint verification and JLA badge) This opportunity offers a meaningful chance to impact students lives and expand your professional skills in a dynamic school setting.
