Key Qualifications:
Active GaPSC Special Education certification for content through 8th grade Adapted Curriculum Endorsement required District may consider applicants with pending credentials Experience working in self-contained, lower-functioning classrooms preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver effective instruction to students in a functional curriculum setting Collaborate with support staff (paraprofessionals and RBT) to implement individualized education plans Develop and adapt lesson plans to accommodate a range of learning needs Monitor student progress, maintain documentation, and communicate regularly with families and interdisciplinary teams Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment This contract role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students educational journeys while working closely with a dedicated team.
