Job Description

Make an immediate impact as an IRR Special Education Teacher supporting a dedicated group of 1518 students in a vibrant middle school environment. Step into a full-time, onsite position where youll collaborate with teachers, guide IEP implementation, and foster a supportive learning space for your students. This rewarding contract role is set to run through the end of the 20262027 school year, offering you the opportunity to make lasting connections and drive meaningful progress.
What Youll Bring:
Valid and active GaPSC Certification, Georgia General SPED Certification, or a similar credential (must provide certification snapshot for consideration) Prior experience working in school-based special education roles Proficiency in delivering differentiated instruction and adapting curriculum for diverse learners Demonstrated strength in IEP case management and documentation Exceptional classroom management and communication skills Strong collaborative spirit for teaming with general education staff Reliable transportation to and from the school site Full-time availability, Monday through
Friday Key Responsibilities:
Provide specialized instruction tailored to students IEP goals in an inclusive, resource, or self-contained setting Consult and collaborate with education team members to ensure the best possible outcomes for each student Monitor, document, and report student progress Maintain a structured and positive classroom environment that encourages growth and engagement Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and parent conferences as needed This hands-on opportunity lets you form lasting relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
