Qualifications and Experience:

Active Georgia Educator Certificate for Teachers of the Visually Impaired required Previous experience working directly with students with visual impairments in a school setting preferred Strong communication, adaptability, and organizational skills Comfortable with consistent, detailed service documentation (daily logs) Commitment to onsite, in-person instruction throughout the contract duration

Role Responsibilities:

Deliver specialized instructional services to students with visual impairments Collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize learning plans Adapt curriculum and classroom materials to accommodate a variety of needs Maintain accurate daily logs to document instructional sessions and student progress Participate in IEP meetings, assessment, and ongoing professional development This full-time position, starting as soon as possible and continuing through May 2027, offers at least 37.5 hours per week, with the potential for part-time consideration based on availability and caseload.
