Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead 2 Year Old Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum focused on toddler care, literacy education, math concepts, physical activity, and social-emotional learning. Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that promotes curiosity, independence, and positive behavior management strategies. Lead daily lesson planning sessions that incorporate child development principles, early intervention techniques, and classroom management best practices. Deliver engaging lessons that support childhood development milestones, including language acquisition, motor skills, and cognitive growth. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss developmental concerns, and foster collaborative relationships. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate documentation of child welfare and classroom activities. Supervise classroom activities to ensure safety standards are met while encouraging active participation from children. Qualifications Bachelor's degree, CDA, or TCC required Proven experience working with children in early childhood education settings, particularly with toddlers aged 2 years old. Strong knowledge of child development instruction, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies. Background in curriculum development with an emphasis on literacy education, preschool teaching methods, and physical education for young children. Familiarity with special education needs, early intervention programs, and standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood programs. Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners. Certification in first aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in childhood development or special education are preferred. Demonstrated ability to plan lessons that incorporate math concepts and foster social-emotional growth within a toddler care environment.
