We provide a science/engineering enrichment program with a distinct island flair! We will train new candidates fully on our program. (Think Survivor meets Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader!) This position is perfect for: College or graduate students, retired teachers and stay-at-home moms seeking to supplement income. Teaching experience IS required. Challenge Island will train qualified instructors in our unique program and teaching philosophy. All supplies and lesson plans are provided. The materials are comprehensive, fun, and exciting. Classes are held at schools and other organizations currently in Polk County. Challenge Island teaching positions are highly selective positions, but if you do become a part of our leader team the rewards are enormous! This is a part-time position requiring 2-4 hours per week as needed depending on frequency with an extra potential 8-10 hours per month if interested. Candidates must be available from 3pm - 5:30pm. most Mondays. Compensation ranges from $22-26 per hour with pay covering prep time, as well. All lessons and materials will be provided and no lesson planning required.

Requirements:
