In this role, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment tailored specifically for three-year-old children. Responsibilities Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development for three-year-olds. Lead classroom activities that incorporate literacy education, math concepts, physical education, and creative arts to support holistic growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive behavior management strategies and classroom management techniques. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to share progress updates, discuss concerns, and foster strong home-school connections. Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records related to child welfare and development. Collaborate with colleagues on lesson planning, assessment strategies—including standardized testing—and curriculum enhancements. Provide guidance and mentorship to assistant teachers or student teachers while maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children. Qualifications Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings, specifically with toddlers or preschool-aged students. Strong background in curriculum development, child development instruction, and classroom management. Knowledge of special education principles, early intervention strategies, and childhood welfare practices. Certification in first aid and CPR; additional certifications in child care or early childhood education are preferred. Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, staff, and community partners effectively. Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and standards for childcare providers. Demonstrated ability to plan engaging lessons that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
