Job Description

Make a difference for students with diverse needs as a vital member of a special education team by supporting a small, focused caseload. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity as a Case Manager is perfect for a compassionate and skilled professional eager to use their experience to empower students progress. You'll collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to ensure each child receives individualized support tailored to their unique strengths and challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate endorsement for Special Education Prior experience in a special education setting, ideally as a Case Manager or Special Education Teacher Strong understanding of IEP processes, IDEA compliance, and relevant state/district regulations Excellent organizational and communication skillsable to coordinate seamlessly with multidisciplinary teams Experience managing caseloads with students who have significant needs and complexities preferred
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as primary Case Manager for a caseload of 4 students with a variety of multifaceted needs Oversee all case management duties, including IEP development, monitoring, and documentation Implement instructional and behavioral strategies aligned with each students IEP Collaborate with families, faculty, and staff to facilitate communication and advocate for student success Ensure compliance with all district and state requirements Regularly assess and document student progress, making adaptations as necessary
