There are two openings:

one focusing on self-contained classrooms serving grade behavior students and another supporting 7th grade students in a resource setting. Each classroom maintains a small group of nine students, ensuring individualized attention and an engaging, supportive atmosphere.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teacher certification required Experience working with middle school-aged students, preferably in self-contained or resource settings Strong background supporting students with behavioral and academic needs Ability to collaborate closely with paraprofessionals and other educators Excellent communication, organization, and classroom management skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver lessons and interventions tailored to students' IEP goals Create a nurturing and structured learning environment for grade behavior students Collaborate with paraprofessionals in both self-contained and resource rooms Track academic progress and behavioral data for continuous student growth Communicate regularly with families, support staff, and fellow educators Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture
