As an Early Childhood Special Education Supervisor/Coordinator, you'll play a key role in shaping inclusive programming, ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive.

What You'll Bring:

Active Illinois certification as a Special Education Teacher Bachelor's or master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or closely related field Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with administrative endorsements 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in an early childhood classroom or program Strong command of Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE regulations Thorough understanding of Early Intervention processes and experience facilitating related meetings Proven leadership capabilities, with staff training experience Excellent communication skills for engaging with parents, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and support early childhood special education programs, collaborating with staff and families for optimal student outcomes Facilitate Early Intervention meetings and coordinate service delivery for identified children Provide ongoing training, coaching, and mentorship to instructional and support staff Ensure curricula and practices meet Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE guidelines Communicate regularly with parents, caregivers, and community partners to foster strong collaborative relationships Monitor student progress, compliance, and best practices to support continuous program growth
