Qualifications and Experience:

Master's degree required Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with the appropriate endorsements At least three years of special education teaching experience Strong knowledge of special education law and best-practice instruction Commitment to building collaborative relationships with educators, students, and families Excellent communication and organizational skills

Key Responsibilities:

Provide instructional leadership and coaching to special education staff across assigned schools Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations regarding special education Facilitate and participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings Collaborate closely with administrators, general education instructional coaches, and the Director of Special Education and Student Services to support a robust continuum of services Promote inclusive instructional practices and effective interventions for students with disabilities Serve as a resource for curriculum adaptation, assessment, and differentiation Your dedication will drive meaningful progress for students, empower teaching teams, and support the mission of enhancing special education services.
