Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Bachelor's Degree required Active Professional Educator License with LBS 1 endorsement is a must Experience as a Special Education Teacher preferred, with the ability to adapt lessons for diverse learning needs Strong communication and organizational skills Team-oriented approach with a passion for fostering student confidence and success
Responsibilities:
Create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's strengths and needs Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, families, and administrators to promote consistency in student support Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records Deliver engaging, inclusive instruction in accordance with established curricula and state standards Cultivate a positive, respectful learning environment that encourages self-advocacy and independence
