Job Description
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of young learners as a Special Education Teacher in a dynamic Early Childhood Center serving Pre K through 5th grade. Starting immediately and extending through May 28, 2027, you'll work Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 3:30pm, with a schedule designed to promote work-life balance. This role offers the chance to support students at a critical stage in their learning journey, helping set the groundwork for lifelong success. What we're seeking: Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement (required) Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Confidence collaborating with related service providers to support student needs Two years of recent teaching experience preferred, but a passion for inclusive education is essential Comfortable working in an Early Childhood Center setting with students from Pre K through 5th grade Your day-to-day will include: Designing and adapting lesson plans tailored to diverse learning needs Tracking student progress and maintaining accurate records Participating in multidisciplinary meetings and supporting families in the IEP process Creating a positive, safe, and supportive classroom community Enjoy a comprehensive package of benefits including health (medical, dental, and vision) coverage, plus the option to participate in a 401(k) through Principal Financial.
