Key Qualifications:

Illinois certification as a Special Education Teacher Bachelor's or master's degree in early childhood education or child development Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with administrative endorsements 2-3+ years of direct experience in early childhood classroom or program settings Thorough understanding of Illinois Early Learning Standards and ISBE guidelines Demonstrated leadership skills, including staff training and mentoring Exceptional communication abilities for interacting with parents and multidisciplinary teams Well-versed in Early Intervention processes and adept at facilitating meetings
