Job Description

Take the next step in your special education career by supporting students in a dynamic, full-time contract role as a Case Manager and Special Education Teacher. This onsite opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to individualized instruction and collaborative support for students with complex learning needs. You'll work closely with a small caseload of four students, developing and implementing IEPs, coordinating resources, and ensuring compliance with all state and district regulations.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
Current Illinois teaching license with appropriate Special Education endorsement Professional Educator License (PEL) in Illinois Prior experience as a Special Education Teacher and Case Manager, preferably with complex student needs Strong skills in documentation, progress monitoring, and IEP development Ability to communicate clearly with students, families, and interdisciplinary teams Commitment to supporting students with multiple disabilities in inclusive and self-contained settings
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct special education instruction and case management for a caseload of four students Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in collaboration with families and related service providers Coordinate accommodations, modifications, and support for each student Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with Illinois state and district standards Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings, providing expert guidance and advocacy Communicate regularly with stakeholders to address concerns and celebrate student progress
