Job Description
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state certification in Special Education. Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field required. Experience working with students across a range of disabilities, including emotional, learning, or developmental. Ability to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Strong classroom management and communication abilities. Compassion, adaptability, and a collaborative spirit.Key Responsibilities:
Develop and adapt lesson plans to fit each students unique learning needs. Lead small group and one-on-one instruction, utilizing evidence-based teaching strategies. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records for assessments and IEP documentation. Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure integrated support. Engage families in the educational process, providing updates and resources as needed. Participate in school meetings, professional development, and IEP conferences.
