This flexible position runs from ASAP through May 25, and is centered in one building, making your daily routine simple and consistent.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

Valid certification or licensure as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) Prior experience supporting students with visual impairments preferred Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient approach Familiarity with adaptive technology and Braille instruction Ability to create and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborative mindset to work alongside other educators and specialists

Your Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver personalized instruction aligned with the student's IEP goals Utilize assistive technology and Braille materials to support accessible learning Assess progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet evolving needs Foster an inclusive, encouraging atmosphere that promotes independence Communicate regularly with school staff and family regarding achievements and adjustments Maintain thorough documentation of student progress and instructional activities
