Job Description

Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this school year by supporting students through specialized instruction and collaboration within a vibrant learning community. This full-time, contract opportunity seeks a bilingual Special Education Teacher skilled in both push-in and pull-out services. You'll deliver direct support to students with IEPs in the general education classroom, as well as provide targeted instruction in small group settings.

Key Qualifications:

Valid Special Education teaching license/certification Bilingual proficiency required Experience working with students with IEPs Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, students, and families Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet individual needs Experience with both inclusive (push-in) and resource/pull-out interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

Support students with IEPs in inclusive general education classrooms through co-teaching and differentiated instruction Provide small group or individualized instruction outside the classroom to target specific skill areas Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum and ensure accommodations are met Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust interventions as necessary Participate in IEP meetings and create meaningful, goal-oriented plans for students Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all learners Immerse yourself in a dynamic school culture while advancing your career as a Special Education professional.
