Overview Join our vibrant educational team as an Aftercare Teacher, where your passion for nurturing young minds and creating a safe, engaging environment comes to life! Responsibilities Supervise children during after-school hours, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Manage classroom activities and behavior using effective behavior management techniques Facilitate youth group activities, including games, arts and crafts, tutoring, and outdoor play Implement first aid protocols promptly in case of minor injuries or emergencies, including CPR and AED operation when necessary Collaborate with colleagues to plan engaging educational activities aligned with childhood development principles Maintain clear communication with parents or guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, including child supervision standards and first aid procedures Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain a positive and disciplined environment Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings, including daycare or camp experience Certified in first aid, CPR, AED operation, and familiar with first aid protocols Proven ability to lead youth programs and facilitate group activities effectively Excellent child supervision skills with a focus on safety and developmental support Background in teaching young children or youth development programs, including tutoring or youth group leadership This position is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about fostering childhood development through engaging activities while ensuring safety at every step.
