The teacher will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement student programs, provide specialized instruction, offer tutorial assistance, and consult with general education staff to promote student success. Key Responsibilities Deliver specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate with administrators, related service providers, and general education teachers Monitor student progress and maintain required documentation Participate in team meetings, evaluations, and educational planning Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Communicate effectively with families and educational staff
Qualifications Required:
Illinois Learning Behavior Specialist I (LBS1) Endorsement OR Early Childhood Special Education Endorsement (Birth-3rd Grade) Valid state teaching certification consistent with district and state requirements Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements Must be at least 18 years of age
Preferred:
