Key Qualifications:
Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement Demonstrated experience in self-contained special education settings Expertise working with low-incidence and life-skills populations Comfort with adapted curriculum and individualized instruction Strong collaborative and communication skillsResponsibilities:
Implement life-skills instruction tailored to diverse student needs Oversee and update IEPs, ensuring accommodations and goals are met Work collaboratively with paraprofessionals, therapists, and families Integrate medical and behavioral supports as necessary in the classroom Foster an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment This school is committed to providing all the resources you need, along with a collaborative and supportive staff environment.
