The role revolves around designing adapted instruction, fostering independence, and making learning accessible and engaging. Your schedule will run Monday through Friday, 8:35 AM to 3:30 PM, giving you a steady rhythm to balance work and personal commitments. Youll play a vital role in both academic and functional skill instruction, as well as in managing IEP processes and advocating for classroom/medical accommodations.

Key Qualifications:

Current Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 Endorsement Demonstrated experience in self-contained special education settings Expertise working with low-incidence and life-skills populations Comfort with adapted curriculum and individualized instruction Strong collaborative and communication skills
