Category Schools - Special Education Teacher Job Type Contract Make an immediate impact in the lives of students as a Special Education Teacher for a full-time contract assignment near Joliet, IL. This rewarding position focuses on supporting a dedicated caseload of approximately 10 students in grades 3-5, all housed within a single building for convenience and community-building. The assignment will span the entire school year, providing continuity of care and the opportunity to develop strong, lasting relationships with students and staff.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid Special Education teaching certification (State of Illinois) Demonstrated experience working with elementary-aged students (grades 3-5 preferred) Familiarity with IEP development and implementation Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to adapt instructional methods to meet diverse learning needs

Responsibilities:
