Key Qualifications:

Active LBS1 license required Experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with primary-aged students Strong foundation in instructional approaches tailored for students with diverse learning needs Effective communication and collaboration skills to partner with families, staff, and support personnel Ability to design, implement, and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs)

Role Responsibilities:

Lead a self-contained classroom, creating a structured, nurturing learning environment for K-1 students Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals and student strengths Collaborate with related service providers, classroom assistants, and administrators to ensure comprehensive support Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and participate in IEP meetings Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth This is a full-time role, offering a regular schedule from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
