Duties Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs, including those with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, and other special needs Create engaging lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development principles, instructional modifications, and educational technology integration to enhance learning outcomes Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management strategies and behavioral therapy techniques to foster a positive learning environment Adapt teaching methods and materials for students requiring specialized instruction in literacy education, math, communication skills, and other core subjects Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychologists, and other professionals to support comprehensive student development and early intervention efforts Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to discuss student progress, share strategies for at-home support, and coordinate services effectively Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to evaluate student progress and inform instructional adjustments Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Special Education, Elementary Education with a focus on special needs, or related field; Master's degree preferred Valid teaching certification/license for special education or equivalent credentials in your region Proven classroom experience working with students with disabilities or neurodevelopmental disorders in elementary or preschool settings Strong knowledge of special education law (such as IDEA), IEP development, instructional modifications, and behavior management techniques Experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, or behavioral health challenges Familiarity with educational technology tools used for lesson planning and literacy/math instruction Excellent communication skills for effective parent-teacher collaboration and team coordination Join us in creating an inclusive learning environment where every child can succeed!
