Job Description

Empower students to reach their full potential in a supportive and collaborative school environment as a Special Education Teacher on a contract basis. This role offers the chance to develop and deliver tailored instruction, coordinate with education professionals, and make a lasting difference in the lives of diverse learners.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Special Education teaching certification for the state Bachelors degree or higher in Special Education or a related field Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and compliance Experience utilizing differentiated instruction for students with a range of disabilities Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with students, families, and colleagues Ability to adapt to various classroom and resource settings Organization and time management skills for managing caseloads and documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) that address students unique learning needs Work closely with general education teachers, aides, therapists, and support staff to support integrated learning opportunities Provide direct instruction and modify curriculum based on student ability and learning style Track progress, maintain records, and regularly communicate with parents or guardians about student development Monitor and support positive behavior interventions and classroom management strategies Participate in team meetings, trainings, and professional development activities as required Enjoy the rewards of inspiring students and collaborating with passionate educators, all while advancing your professional skills in a dynamic and welcoming setting.
