This position is based near Oak Park, IL, and offers the chance to make a direct impact on the lives of students in a collaborative and supportive environment. This assignment runs from October 1, 2026, through June 2027, with weekly hours totaling between 35 and 37, ensuring a consistent schedule throughout the school year. You'll work closely with a small caseload of 6 students (possibly 7), providing specialized instruction and support in an inclusive elementary classroom setting.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid

PEL - LBS1

credential required Previous experience teaching special education at the elementary level preferred Strong collaboration skills to partner effectively with general education teachers and support staff Ability to create and implement differentiated instruction plans that address individual education program (IEP) goals Dedication to fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment for every student

Primary Responsibilities:
