2+ years of hands-on dental insurance experience Must have worked directly with dental insurance, not just general medical billing or front desk duties. Strong insurance claims & A/R expertise Experienced with claim submission, denials, appeals, aging reports, EOBs, underpayments, and insurance follow-up. Advanced insurance verification & benefit knowledge Able to independently break down benefits, including deductibles, annual maximums, waiting periods, frequencies, exclusions, limitations, and patient responsibility. Strong knowledge of dental coding & practice management software Comfortable with CDT codes, treatment estimates, pre-authorizations/predeterminations, and dental software As a Receptionist/Front Desk, you will: Welcome visitors and patients, ensuring efficient notification to staff and adeptly handle phone communications. Oversee appointment scheduling and calendar management to achieve practice's care objectives and financial targets.
