Qualifications:
Valid Special Education Teacher certification for the state Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of IEP development, implementation, and progress monitoring Excellent communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and staff Ability to adapt instructional methods based on individual student learning styles and needsKey Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver personalized lesson plans in alignment with each student's IEP goals Assess student progress and adjust interventions as needed Work closely with general education teachers, support staff, and families to foster a collaborative learning environment Document and report on student progress, maintaining thorough and accurate records Contribute to meetings and professional development activities as required by the school or district This is a contract position offering a supportive work environment and the chance to positively influence the educational journeys of exceptional students.
