e2112-62706 Job Description Make a meaningful impact as a dedicated educator working one-on-one with a student as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired in a long-term, full-time contract role. This position is perfect for professionals who are passionate about individualized pediatric education and are open to travel assignments. The assignment is on-site, giving you the opportunity to connect directly with students and school teams in a supportive educational setting.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree (B.A.) required Current state certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired Prior experience in a 1:1 pediatric or school-based environment is highly valued Strong communication, adaptability, and a collaborative approach Willingness to work full-time on-site
Core Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored educational support and instruction to a student with visual impairment Develop and implement individualized strategies and lesson plans based on the students needs Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, special education staff, and family members to maximize learning outcomes Regularly monitor, assess, and document student progress Maintain compliance with IEP goals and all relevant education protocols Use specialized tools and assistive technology required for visual impairments
