Job Description

Key Qualifications:
Valid Illinois Special Education Teacher certification with LBS1 endorsement Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and special education best practices Ability to effectively adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique strengths and needs Deliver high-quality instruction in accordance with state standards and students' IEPs Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust approaches as needed Work closely with general education teachers, aides, and support staff to ensure student success Maintain open communication with families, providing regular updates on student progress and needs Create a positive and safe classroom climate that encourages growth, independence, and self-advocacy Enjoy comprehensive benefits, including competitive weekly pay, health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(k) retirement plan to secure your future.
