This contract role begins in October 2026 and runs through December 2026—or possibly January 2027—offering you the chance to make a difference for K-4th grade students in a supportive, inclusive setting. You'll manage a caseload of six students, blending push-in support with self-contained instruction as needed. Your weekdays will follow a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00am to 3:00pm, with a dedicated 30-minute lunch break. Expect to collaborate closely with related services staff, providing tailored educational experiences and advocating for each student's success.
Desired Qualifications:
Valid Illinois State Educator License with LBS1 Endorsement Strong ability to develop, write, and implement IEPs in partnership with service providers and families Ideally, at least two years of recent classroom experience in special education Passion for serving diverse learners and supporting individualized growth
Core Responsibilities:
