Special Education Teacher - West Chicago, IL - 2026-2027 School Year Elevation Healthcare has partnered with a school district in the West Chicago, IL area seeking a full-time Special Education Teacher for the remainder of the 2026-2027 school year. Role will serve a middle school population, most of which co-teaching. All applicants must be a licensed Special Education Teacher, holding an active Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1) or have the eligibility to obtain prior to starting. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to meet each student's unique needs Provide instruction across a variety of subjects while adapting teaching methods to support diverse learning styles Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff regarding student progress and interventions Foster a positive, supportive, and structured classroom environment Conduct assessments and maintain accurate student documentation and progress monitoring

Requirements:
