Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field Current Illinois Professional Educator License with relevant endorsements Demonstrated ability to develop and implement curriculum tailored to middle school technology classes Previous classroom experience, particularly at the 7th or 8th grade level, is highly desirable Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Comfort with integrating educational technology and digital citizenship concepts into daily lessonsKey Responsibilities:
Deliver dynamic technology instruction for 7th and 8th grade students, following curriculum standards and school goals Develop lesson plans that emphasize creativity, critical thinking, and practical digital skills Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted support to ensure all learners achieve success Collaborate closely with grade-level colleagues, administrators, and support staff to foster a positive learning environment Participate in school meetings, professional development, and communicate regularly with families about student progress This role provides a unique opportunity to nurture students' technical confidence and empower them for future success, all within a supportive and forward-thinking school culture.
