Qualifications:
Valid Indiana Special Education teaching certification or eligibility to obtain Previous experience in a self-contained special education classroom preferred Strong background teaching middle school mathematics Experience developing, implementing, and monitoring IEPs Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to create a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment Responsibilities Provide math instruction to middle school students in a self-contained special education setting Develop and deliver individualized lessons aligned with students' IEP goals Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff to promote student success Monitor academic and behavioral progress while maintaining accurate documentation Partner with families to communicate student growth and educational goals Foster a supportive classroom culture that encourages confidence, independence, and achievement This contract opportunity offers the chance to work alongside a collaborative school team while making a meaningful difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
