In this role, you will create a warm, engaging classroom environment that promotes curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will inspire young children to explore, learn, and grow through play-based activities and meaningful interactions. Responsibilities Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that support early literacy, math, physical activity, and social skills tailored to 3-year-olds Create a safe, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Manage daily classroom routines, including transitions, snack times, nap schedules, and activity rotations Use effective behavior management strategies to promote positive behavior and social-emotional growth Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns Incorporate child development principles and early intervention techniques to support diverse learning needs Maintain accurate documentation of children's developmental progress and classroom activities in compliance with mandated reporting laws Experience Prior experience working with children in a preschool or daycare setting, especially with toddlers aged 2-3 years Knowledge of childhood development stages and best practices in early childhood education Experience developing curriculum plans focused on literacy education, math skills, physical education, and overall child welfare Familiarity with behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies for young children Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; ongoing training in special education or early intervention is a plus Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with parents, colleagues, and community resources Demonstrated ability to create inclusive learning environments that support children with diverse needs Join us in shaping the future by fostering joyful learning experiences for our youngest learners!
Pay:
$14.00 - $15.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
