We are seeking a dedicated and passionate teacher to join our dynamic special education team at the CSD Early Learning Center.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs in alignment with state and federal regulations. Provide differentiated instruction to meet the academic, behavioral, and emotional needs of students. Create and maintain a structured, safe, and nurturing classroom environment. Monitor and assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed. Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. Support the social and emotional development of students and promote positive behavioral interventions. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in special education. Ensure that all classroom materials and activities are adapted to meet the diverse learning styles of students. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or high in Special Education Valid Indiana teaching certification for Special Education at the early grade levels Previous experience preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
