This full-time opportunity (37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday) offers two distinct roles within a supportive environment: a Resource Special Education position with a caseload of 2530 students requiring Mild Intervention certification, and an Essential Skills Special Education position with a caseload of 10 students requiring Intense Intervention certification. Daily hours are 8:20 AM to 3:10 PM, with potential minor adjustments according to classroom needs.

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana Special Education Teaching License required Mild Intervention or Intense Intervention certification, as appropriate for your desired role Experience working with special education populations at the middle school or junior high level preferred Exceptional communication, adaptability, and organizational skills Commitment to inclusive education and fostering student growth

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized instructional plans for students on your caseload Collaborate with general education teachers, paras, and student support staff Assess student strengths, challenges, and progress, adjusting approaches as necessary Maintain accurate records, IEPs, and documentation Foster a positive, supportive, and engaging classroom environment where every student can thrive This position is located within a vibrant school community offering opportunities to inspire and empower young learners.
