This position involves two distinct roles:

SPED Resource:

Supporting a caseload of 25-30 students, requiring Indiana certification in mild interventions.

SPED Essential:

Working with a smaller group of 10 students, requiring Indiana certification in intense interventions. Located in a welcoming and collaborative school community, youll enjoy a meaningful workday from 8:20 AM to 3:10 PM, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility depending on classroom needs. The position offers a steady 37.5-hour workweek, ensuring consistency and structure for both you and your students.

Qualifications:

Valid Indiana teaching license in Special Education Certification in either Mild or Intense Intervention (or both, depending on preference) Experience working with special needs populations in a school setting Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and compassionately Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Deliver engaging instruction and interventions in both resource and essential classroom settings Collaborate closely with colleagues, specialists, and parents to support student growth Track student progress and adjust strategies as necessary Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment This opportunity lets you directly empower students by removing barriers and helping them achieve their learning goals.
